I haven’t been putting much new content here in the last few months… been quite busy launching the new company. But I did get around to a new holiday playlist, much like last year. Check it out here!

Another exciting launch! The dark, shoe-gazy and utterly brilliant album that my good friends in Black Swan Green have written, which I was honored to bring to life with my production, engineering and guitar-playing, will be available on CD October 10th, 2008, and digitally soon after. To celebrate the album’s debut, I will be joining Black Swan Green on stage (on guitar) at Union Pool in Wiliamsburg.

You may have heard me refer to a mysterious “rock record” that I’ve been busy producing. Well it’s for real. The band is called Black Swan Green, centered around the songs, voice and guitar playing of my old friend and mixtape maestro Hugh Crickmore. We have a few tracks that are near completion. Full album should be available by end of summer. I’m really honored to be able to give these songs the care, attention and guitar overdubbing they deserve.

I contributed several music cues to the score of HBO’s new documentary film Alive Day Memories: Home From Iraq, produced by James Gandolfini. I was honored to be part of an important project from a cutting edge company.

I journeyed to the south of France this year to mix with the global ad community during the Cannes Lions awards show..
Camping out at a villa in Mougins, just north of Cannes, with my buddy Wilbert Hirsch from Audio Consulting Group in Germany, I met some excellent people from places as diverse as Madrid, Mumbai and LA. Pics here!
