This will come as no surprise to those who know me. I am about to step in the the role I feel I’ve been training for my entire life: guitar player (Johnny Marr) for a Smiths tribute band. Yes, I am preparing for my first gig with The Sons and Heirs, a new NYC based Smiths tribute. First show will be December 7th at Magnetic Field in Brooklyn.

War on terror documentary American Zeitgeist will hit the nation’s capital this Thursday, November 2nd, at the National Press Club, and will be immediately followed by a panel discussion featuring New America Foundation fellow Peter Bergen and William Rosenau, a terrorism expert from Rand Corp. Sweet! The war on terror documentary I recently scored, American Zeitgeist has been selected to screen in the Vancouver International Film Festival next month, with the first showing on Oct. 4. Schedule info is here.
American Zeitgeist: Crisis and Conscience in an Age of Terror premiered in New York City last Thursday to a big crowd. The film was followed by a lively debate between Christopher Hitchens and Eric Margolis, two of the prominently featured voices. The film also received a glowing review this week from Open Democracy.
